Development Applications

A Development Application (DA) is required for new buildings and structures, alterations to existing buildings and structures or a change in land use. The DA process refers to the formal process which requires the relevant consent authority to assess the proposal and any potential impacts caused by the development. The extent and location of the proposal will determine whether additional environmental assessments are required for the project to gain development consent.
